About This Program
What Are Wedding Packages?
Wedding Packages are for couples who want their dog to be part of the wedding day — really part of it, not just the photos — without spending the morning panicking about whether the dog will hold a sit during the ceremony or go after a piece of cake at the reception.
We board your dog before the wedding, deliver them to the venue groomed and ready for photos, handle them through the ceremony and reception, and take them home (or to honeymoon care via our sister company K9 Stride) when the night is over. You get to be present for your wedding. The dog gets to be there for it.
Every package is custom-built around your venue, your timeline, and your dog. We've worked South Jersey weddings, destination weddings, backyard ceremonies, and church-and-reception-hall events. The format adapts; the goal doesn't.
- Boarding before and after the wedding
- Expert handling at the venue
- Photo coordination with your photographer
- Ceremony walk-down or ring-bearer roles
- Reception management and clean-up
- Honeymoon care via K9 Stride

What's Included
Our Wedding Package Includes
Every wedding is different — but every package covers the same six core pieces.
-
Pre-Wedding Boarding
Drop your dog with us the day before (or earlier) so the morning of the wedding is one less thing to worry about.
-
Venue Delivery
Your dog arrives at the venue groomed, calm, and ready — on the timeline you and your photographer set.
-
Photo Coordination
We work directly with your photographer — first looks, family portraits, formal shots — so you get the photos without the chaos.
-
Ceremony Handling
Walk-down, ring-bearer, or quiet attendance — whatever role your dog has, we run them through it on the actual cue, on the actual day.
-
Reception Coverage
We stay through the reception or extract your dog at the agreed time — whatever fits the venue and the night.
-
Honeymoon Sitting
Via our sister company K9 Stride — your dog cared for at home or in our facility while you're on your honeymoon.

- You're getting married out of town and need boarding plus venue delivery
- Your dog needs basic-obedience prep before the day
- You want honeymoon coverage so you don't have to coordinate a separate sitter
- You don't want to ask a wedding-day friend to manage the dog

Our Work
Our Wedding Package Work
Real dogs at real weddings — the kind of day where the dog being calm matters more than almost anything.
Pricing
How Much Does a Wedding Package Cost?
Pricing is set after the consultation, because every wedding has a different timeline, venue, and dog. We don't quote a number off a single phone call — the difference between a 4-hour ceremony-and-photos package and a full-day boarding-plus-honeymoon package is significant, and we want to quote you for what you actually need.
We don't sell pre-priced bundles, and we don't pad the timeline. You get a full quote up front that covers the pieces of the day you've actually asked for, with no upsell ladder.

FAQ
Wedding Packages — Frequently Asked Questions
Real answers to the questions South Jersey couples ask us most. Don't see yours? Call 856-248-0802.
Ask a Question-
How far in advance should we book?
Book as early as you can — at least 3 to 6 months out. Wedding dates fill up fast, especially in peak season (May through October), and we book one wedding per day so the dog gets full attention.
If your wedding is sooner than that, call us anyway. We may have availability, and even if we don't, we can sometimes refer you to handlers we trust. We'd rather lose the booking and keep your dog safe than overbook a wedding day.
-
Does my dog need to be trained already?
Ideally yes — at least basic-obedience level. Sit, down, stay, walk on a leash without pulling. Wedding days are high-stakes one-shot environments, and a dog that can't hold a sit or walk on a loose leash is going to struggle.
If your dog isn't there yet, we can run pre-wedding training in the weeks leading up. We've started dogs from scratch a few months out and gotten them ceremony-ready. The earlier you call, the more time we have.
-
Can my dog be the ring bearer?
Yes — ring-bearer roles are one of the most common requests, and we love them. The training is straightforward for most dogs: a recall down the aisle, a sit-stay at the altar, and an exit cue. We run rehearsals before the wedding so the cues are locked in.
We'd recommend a backup pillow for the actual rings — symbolic ring tied to the dog's collar is photogenic, real rings tied to the dog's collar is risky. Your jeweler will thank us.
-
What if my dog is reactive or anxious?
Tell us at the consultation. Reactive or anxious dogs can sometimes still be part of the wedding day, but the plan looks different — fewer hours at the venue, photos only (no ceremony), or ceremony only with a private exit afterward.
If the dog is genuinely going to be miserable at the venue, we'll tell you honestly. A wedding day isn't worth the trauma to the dog — and there are ways to include them (photos at home before, video call during ceremony) that don't require putting them through a public event.
-
Do you handle the dog during photos?
Yes — photo coordination is one of the most valuable pieces of the package. We work directly with your photographer, handle the dog into and out of frame, manage the calm sit you need for formal portraits, and clean up between shots so the timeline doesn't slip.
We stay invisible in the photos themselves — we're handling the dog from behind the photographer, on the cue. You and the dog are in the picture; we're not.
-
Can you handle our dog at the reception too?
Yes, if you want them there. Many couples have the dog at ceremony and photos, then we extract the dog before the reception. Others want the dog at cocktail hour or the early reception too. We adapt to whatever the venue and the dog can handle.
We'll never push for more reception time than the dog should do. Most dogs do best with a clear exit point — usually after photos and the first hour of cocktail hour — and we'll tell you honestly when we think it's time.
-
What is K9 Stride, and how does honeymoon care work?
K9 Stride is our sister company that provides boarding and pet sitting. For honeymoon care, we hand the dog off to K9 Stride at the end of the wedding day — they take over from there with in-home sitting or facility boarding, depending on what you've booked.
One company, one trusted team across the wedding day and the honeymoon. The handoff is seamless because we know each other and we know your dog. Pricing for honeymoon care is separate from the wedding package and gets quoted at the consultation.
-
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Sometimes — it depends on the destination, the timeline, and what's reasonable. For weddings within driving distance of South Jersey, we travel readily. For further destinations, we'll talk through it on a case-by-case basis at the consultation.
If we can't travel, we can sometimes connect you with a trusted handler in the destination area and consult on the plan remotely. We'd rather refer you well than overcommit and underdeliver on your wedding day.
-
What happens if it rains?
We adapt. Most outdoor wedding venues have rain plans, and we coordinate with you and the venue on the morning-of decision. The dog's role usually doesn't change — we just move the staging area to wherever the ceremony has moved to.
If conditions are genuinely unsafe for the dog (extreme heat, severe storms), we'll have a conversation. Your dog's safety always wins. We'll never push a dog into a wedding-day moment that isn't appropriate for them.

How do I get started with a Wedding Package?
Call us at 856-248-0802 or use the contact form on this site. Tell us your wedding date, venue, and what you'd love the dog's role to be — and we'll schedule a free consultation to walk through it.
The consultation is no-obligation. You'll leave with a clear plan, real pricing, and a sense of whether what you want is realistic for your dog. From there, you decide.
