I have been training with K9 standards for over a year and have made a massive improvement in three of my dogs. One basic and advanced obedience, one behavior modification and one is a puppy training into advanced obedience.

Amy put me at ease as soon as I spoke with her on the phone. Our Baby Girl is a 6 yo rescue and was so reactive that she charged and bit anyone entering our home, that included me and my son. Amy trained me as an owner as well as Baby Girl. Yes, she will always need her E collar and muzzle with new people. But, she is a loving dog now. Audrey also worked with my helper and now Baby Girl follows him around when he’s here to work. We were Baby Girl’s 3rd family and with Amy and Audrey’s help, Baby Girl has found her forever home with us. Thank you so much!!!

Audrey is amazing!! Your dog comes first with customized private lessons in your own home that focus on exactly what your needs are. Optional group lessons every week make reinforcing skills outside of the home fun. I wouldn’t trust my dog with anyone else! K9 Standards is the best.

If I could give more than 5 stars I totally would. Rocky starting showing signs of improvement since day 1 with Audrey and Amy. Now after almost a year he has become a well rounded part of the family who continually improves more and more each class. I don’t think we would have such a perfect dog without help from Audrey and Amy.

I have a gentle giant who loves almost every person he meets but who became dog reactive after our other dog passed away. We worked with K9 Standards in group sessions for socialization and also private appointments as well . The classes not only helped him, but me as I was nervous handling him at times. We now have the tools and knowledge so we can all be confident.

Amy and Audrey gave me hope that Baby Girl could be trained not to charge and bite. Initially, Amy spent a long time talking to me on the phone BEFORE she was hired. Every single in home session we saw progress! Baby Girl, a 6 yo abused dog that we rescued, will probably always be reactive. But now we have the tools and confidence to make our dog feel safe
and to be an enjoyable pet. Amy gives it to you straight and honestly. She gave us tips to transport our dogs safely in the car and many other dog safety tips. I highly recommend her business!!!

Working with Amy and Audrey has been great. They definitely know their craft. When we first met and they told me about their training program, I was like “my dog will do that, when”, well he did. My dog started puppy training at 8 weeks and recently graduated on basic obedience. Was great experience and love the fact they do socialization in different environments. Very helpful whenever I needed help with anything.

Wow! K9 Standards did an amazing job with our 2 dogs. Our puppy Rascal is now well behaved and our aggressive dog Tex is now a joy to live with. He’s calm and completely stopped growling and lunging. It’s a miracle what these 2 gals did.

Amy and Audrey have completely transformed my dog. Brutus was a very reactive and aggressive dog who needed to wear a muzzle at all times. His aggression has been transformed into a well behaved dog. Audrey has trained both of my dogs and she’s absolutely amazing. My first dog was very dog aggressive and she worked wonders with that. She trained my second dog to be off leash and helped with his jumping. K9 Standards is great for any dog.

My GSD and I met Amy and Audrey to begin working on many of Echo’s negative behaviors . I know this will be hard work but after listening to the breakdown of how things will work, I’m confident Echo and so will do well!

K9 standards is great! We had our first service dog training session at Target. I was nervous for it but Audrey was amazing. She talked with me about why I was nervous and helped show me that I had no need to worry about my dog jumping on little kids. We walked by lots of kids and my dog didn’t care at all. It showed me how well behaved my dog is now since working with K9 standards and helped me build even more trust in my dog.I can not wait for our next training session!
