Services

K9 Standards will come to your home once a week to teach you and your dog a proper sit, proper down, proper heel, and proper place. We will also modify negative behaviors such as your dog’s reactivity to other dogs and/or people. We have a history of great success rehabilitating all dogs, whether they exhibit mild fear all the way to aggressive dogs with bite histories. There is no need to drug or euthanize your dog, we can change those negative behaviors through our training program. We can teach your dog how to remain neutral in stressful situations, and teach you how to control your dog.

K9 Standards will come to your home and meet you at stores, restaurants, or other high traffic public locations to train your dog on environmental neutrality. Your dog will learn to ignore all outside stimuli and focus on their partner. We will teach your dog two tasks chosen by your physician based upon your own specific service needs. Service dogs receive certification and ID card at the completion of training. K9 Standards Advanced Obedience and a letter from your physician are the prerequisites to start Service Dog Training.

K9 Standards will board your dog(s) the day of your wedding and bring them to the big day in any costumes/clothing you have for them. We will control your dog(s) during photos, and escort them to and rom the service, if you so desire. We will board your dog(s) until the next day. If you require dog siting for your honeymoon, or any other time, our sister company K9 Stride is always available to watch your dog(s) inside their own home.
